About the Operator
Korea Trip Hub is a small, independent project run by one operator — not a company, government body, or tourism board.
Who runs it
Korea Trip Hub is built and maintained by a single independent operator based in South Korea. It is a self-funded personal project, and is not affiliated with any government body, tourism organization, or travel agency.
Why it exists
The goal is simple: help international visitors plan a Korea trip in their own language, with the essentials verified against official sources instead of scattered across dozens of pages.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help draft and translate content faster. AI is an assistant, not the author of record: a human operator reviews the facts, checks every official link, and is responsible for what you read. Key numbers and rules are kept in a verified-only database (see our Editorial & Sourcing Policy), and anything that cannot be confirmed is left out rather than guessed.
Human review and accountability
Every essentials fact carries a verification date and a source link, and a person — not an algorithm — decides what is published. When we get something wrong, we want to fix it quickly (see Corrections & Errors).
Other sites we run
In the interest of transparency: the same operator runs a small number of other independent information sites, including a Japanese-language companion travel blog (韓国旅行ハブ) and a K-pop guide (kpophub.kr). These are separate projects that each stand on their own content — we disclose the relationship rather than hide it.
