Why go

Dolsan Bridge arcs across the water to Dolsan Island, lit up in shifting colours after dark — the image most people picture as Yeosu's night sea.

The waterfront promenade and cafes below make it a favourite evening stroll.

Opened in 1984, Dolsan Bridge was one of Korea's first cable-stayed bridges, linking Yeosu to Dolsan Island. After dark its colour-changing lights over the water became a symbol of Yeosu's night sea, and the nearby Geobukseon (turtle-ship) Bridge continues the crossing.
