Why go

Insadong is Seoul’s traditional-culture street, lined with antique shops, art galleries, craft stores, tea houses and calligraphy studios.

Its main lane and side alleys are pedestrian-friendly and easy to browse on foot.

Long the city's antiques and art quarter, Insadong mixes traditional teahouses and shops selling hanji paper, ceramics and calligraphy brushes with modern galleries. The four-storey Ssamziegil complex spirals around an open courtyard of small studios.
