Jaman Mural Village climbs a hill on the edge of Jeonju Hanok Village, its narrow lanes and old walls painted with colourful murals.
Small cafes and craft shops tuck in between the artworks.
The hillside village of small homes sits below the Omokdae and Imokdae hills, and from around 2012 a public art project painted its walls with murals — many themed on cartoon and film characters. It makes a quiet, arty counterpoint to the busy hanok lanes below.
