Starfield Library (COEX)
A soaring open library inside COEX Mall.

Why go
The Starfield Library is a vast, open two-storey library at the heart of the COEX Mall in Gangnam, with towering shelves that have made it one of Seoul’s most photographed spots.
The mall around it holds shops, an aquarium and the SMTOWN K-pop complex.
Opened in 2017, the library fills a sunken plaza with two soaring walls of shelves holding tens of thousands of books and magazines, all free to browse. It anchors COEX — one of Korea's largest underground malls — alongside an aquarium and the SMTOWN K-pop complex.
