Jeju is a big island best split in two: many visitors spend the first nights near Jeju City in the north, close to the airport, then move to Seogwipo in the south for the waterfalls and Jungmun resort beaches.
A rental car makes far more sense here than public buses, and where you stay along the coast decides whether you wake to sunrise or catch the sunset over the sea.
