Why go

Cheonjeyeon is a three-tier waterfall set in dense subtropical forest on Jeju's south coast, linked by shady paths and the ornate Seonimgyo 'fairy bridge'.

It sits beside the Jungmun resort area.

The name means 'pond of the emperor of heaven', from a legend of seven fairies who bathed here — a story painted on the arched Seonimgyo 'Seven Nymphs Bridge' overhead. The lush gorge is a protected natural-monument forest beside the Jungmun resort complex.
