Gwangalli Beach
Beach with the Gwangan Bridge light show.

Why go
Gwangalli is a relaxed city beach framed by the Gwangan ‘Diamond’ Bridge, whose nightly light show makes it Busan’s favourite after-dark spot.
A young strip of cafes, bars and seafood restaurants lines the sand.
The view is anchored by the Gwangan Bridge, a landmark suspension span that opened in 2003 and lights up after dark. The beach hosts Busan's big autumn fireworks festival and, on some weekends, drone light shows over the water.

Good to know
- Come at night for the bridge light show, and drone shows on some weekends.
- The cafe-and-bar strip is livelier than Haeundae’s.
- It is a short subway hop from Haeundae.
- The back-street cafes and bars buzz late; for the classic shot, sit on the sand facing the bridge after sunset. It's just one subway stop from Haeundae.
