Why go

Seopjikoji is a grassy cape on Jeju's eastern coast, with easy paths along low cliffs, a white lighthouse and views back to Seongsan Ilchulbong.

In spring the surrounding fields turn bright yellow with canola blossom.

'Koji' means cape in the Jeju dialect, and this grassy headland is dotted with landmarks — including the Glass House and Genius Loci pavilions designed by the architect Tadao Ando. It has been a backdrop for many Korean dramas and films.
